These are more than just a slogans or removable mottos that you might see on a church sign as you travel on the highway.  It is our prayer and our heart's desire to be a church where God's Word and God's Spirit come together in a life-changing way!  It is also what we strive for in every facet of activity or ministry at Don Avenue Baptist Church.

We are conveniently located in the heart of Denham Springs. If you are traveling Range Ave. (Hwy. 16), you will see our sign across from Wal-Mart. If you are traveling Florida Blvd. (Hwy. 190), you will see our sign by the Exxon Station. Either way, you can easily find our campus tucked away in between these main roads.

We have four regular services each week. Starting with Sunday, we offer Sunday School at 9:15am followed by the morning worship service at 10:30am. We complete our Sundays with an evening worship service at 6:30pm. We meet together on Wednesdays at 6:30pm for our mid-week service.

There are many other opportunities available for ministry each month. We have our men’s ministry called Brotherhood and our women’s ministry called CWIA (Christian Women In Action). We also offer AWANA for children ages 3 – 12 during the school year and Young at Heart for our senior adults too. Our choir/musical ministry is available for those who love to sing praises to our Lord and our youth have special worship services every Wednesday night.
